Phoenix 99 LEMC: Ace Cafe & High Beach

There is something special about the rumble of engines on a clear Saturday morning, especially when the destination is the historic heart of British motorcycling culture. Today, seven of us from Phoenix 99 LE MC geared up and headed to the world-famous Ace Cafe London for a proper breakfast and some quality time on the road. 🏁 Joining the core crew today were Pistol, Smasher, Blondini, Ace, Hazard, Pity, and Joker. 👊 We were also incredibly pleased to be joined by two good friends of the club: Dan Coarse from Kent and Dave Bottomley from Herts. While they aren't P99 members, they both run their own motorcycle crews and fit right in with the family. 🤝 Breakfast at the Ace ☕ The ride over was nothing short of spectacular, one of those beautiful, sunny days that reminds you why you started riding in the first place. ☀️ For a few of our members, this was actually their first ever visit to the Ace Cafe. There was no one better to lead the way and organise the logistics than our very own Martin Ace, who ensured everyone arrived safely and ready for a fry-up. 🍳🥓 While we tucked into breakfast, the conversation turned toward the future. Dan and Dave are exactly the kind of riders we respect, and as we "chewed the fat," we touched on a very exciting possibility: expanding the club with two new chapters. It’s just a pipe dream for now, but Dan and Dave would make excellent P99 OG's. We’ll see what the future holds, as they say, never say never! 🗺️✨ Back Roads to High Beach 🌳 After we’d had our fill at the Ace, Dave Bottomley took the lead, guiding us through some brilliant back roads to our second stop: the Tea Hut at High Beach in Epping Forest. 🛣️ It was the perfect spot to wind down the morning. Ace kindly bought a round of teas for the group as we spent some time admiring the bikes, catching up, and enjoying the sun before we eventually dispersed for home. 🍵🏍️
